Ron and Nancy have been married for 43 years.

"The first 12 years were difficult because we both came from troubled childhoods. Now, for the past 30 years, we have enjoyed a delightful relationship and a ministry partnership."

Ron: “I was one of 6 kids, unwanted, abandoned by my parents and raised by a 9 year old sister until age 7. Dad was angry and controlling and Mother was emotionally absent. I also endured years of emotional and sexual abuse.

Nancy: “I was an only child whose father was absent for several years because of WWII. When he returned he was powerfully in control, and couldn’t accept his only child. I was sexually abused by neighborhood men and emotionally wounded at home.”

"Both of us brought unsolved baggage into our 1965 union. In 12 years we were headed for divorce. Our relief began with graduate studies.
